Matthew David Landsman is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Attorney based in Gainesville, Florida. He has been practicing law in Florida since his admission to the Florida Bar on April 21, 2005. Mr. Landsman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004, a prestigious institution known for its rigorous legal education. Prior to his tenure at the Public Defender's Office, Mr. Landsman worked as an Associate Attorney at Bruce Robinson and Associates from 2009 to 2011. During this time, he litigated hundreds of DUI and alcohol-related offenses, along with multiple personal injury cases. This diverse background has enriched his legal acumen and enhanced his ability to advocate for his clients. Mr. Landsman is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
He has authored and presented Florida Bar Continuing Legal Education courses on critical topics, including cell phone and search warrant litigation, violations of probation, and jury selection.
