About Chase
Chase Walker began his professional path in classrooms that emphasized government and law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2019. He went on to complete his Juris Doctor at Lincoln Memorial University’s John J. Duncan, Jr. School of Law in 2022.
His time in law school coincided with practical work in the field. While a student he took on internships that exposed him to client work and court processes. Those early roles helped bridge academic study and the day-to-day tasks of legal practice.
Walker served as a judicial law clerk for Knox County Circuit Court Division II in 2021. In that role he worked on legal research and prepared memoranda and draft orders for the court. The clerkship offered direct exposure to case management and courtroom procedure. He also interned at Legal Aid of East Tennessee in 2020, where he assisted with intake, client interviews and legal research on civil matters commonly handled by that office. Following graduation he spent time as a legal intern at Garza Law in 2022, contributing to case preparation and client correspondence.
These positions shaped the practical side of his approach. The clerkship emphasized written work and an understanding of judicial decision-making. The legal aid placement gave him experience dealing with clients who face immediate legal needs. At Garza Law he was part of a small team handling varied tasks tied to litigation and client service.
Walker is a member of the State Bar of Tennessee and holds memberships in the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, all current. He maintains ties to the local legal community through those organizations, attending continuing legal education events and bar activities since entering the profession.
He practices at The CW Firm, where he represents clients in matters that arise in Tennessee courts and administrative settings. His work draws on courtroom experience from the clerkship, client-facing skills developed at Legal Aid, and document drafting practiced in private firm internships. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee and maintains his bar memberships while handling caseloads for individuals and businesses.
