About Mark

Mark Rhoades earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992, where he studied political science and psychology. He went on to study law at Temple University, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1997. Those two degrees — one rooted in behavioral and civic studies, the other in legal doctrine — underpin how he approaches problems today.

After completing law school, Rhoades entered legal practice and has worked in the field for more than two decades. His career spans private practice and client representation in a range of settings. He has handled matters that required written advocacy, negotiated solutions, and appearances in court when disputes could not be resolved at the table.

His background in political science and psychology informs his work. He pays attention to how people make decisions and how legal structures influence outcomes. That perspective helps him shape advice, prepare witnesses, and set expectations for clients who may be unfamiliar with formal legal processes.

Throughout his career, Rhoades has balanced case work with counsel. He has advised individuals and business clients on legal options and next steps. He prepares documents, pursues negotiated settlements, and litigates when necessary. His work reflects an emphasis on clarifying complexities for the people who rely on him.

Rhoades practices at RHOADES LLC. In that setting he manages matters brought by a variety of clients, tailoring approaches to the circumstances each case presents. He maintains a practical orientation and focuses on resolving issues in a way that is understandable to nonlawyers while mindful of procedural demands.

He continues to draw on both his liberal arts education and his legal training as he advises clients. He currently practices at RHOADES LLC, representing individuals and businesses across a broad range of legal matters.
