About Mark Jon

Mark Jon Wieczorek earned his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University in 2007 after completing undergraduate studies at Wilmington College in 2000. He entered the legal field at a time when courtrooms were shifting and technologies were changing how cases were investigated. The academic path he took combined a small-college foundation with law school training in Ohio, setting the stage for work in both local and federal forums.

He began his professional career in public service. In 2007 he joined the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office as an assistant prosecuting lawyer. That role placed him on the front lines of criminal prosecutions. It also offered steady courtroom time and experience handling evidence, witness preparation, and plea negotiations.

Two years later he moved into private practice. In 2009 he became a managing lawyer at Suhre & Associates, LLC. The firm work broadened his exposure to defense strategy and client counseling. After five years there, he founded his own firm. In 2014 he opened The Wieczorek Law Office, taking on ownership and the responsibilities that come with running a small practice.

His professional memberships reflect the matters he handles. He is a current member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Ohio State Bar. He holds SFSTs certification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a credential commonly used in cases that involve impaired driving. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and has secured privileges in the 6th and 7th U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal, allowing him to represent clients at the appellate level in federal matters.

Colleagues describe his courtroom approach as methodical. He has experience on both sides of criminal cases, first as a prosecutor and later as a defense attorney and firm owner. That background informs how he prepares for hearings and trials. He manages the administrative and strategic demands of a solo or small-firm practice while handling individual client matters.

Today he practices through The Wieczorek Law Office, LLC. He represents clients in criminal matters, including cases that involve impaired driving and other state and federal criminal charges.
