About Marissa A.
Marissa A. Olsson went from undergraduate study in Seattle to a courtroom practice across the region. She earned a B.A. from the University of Washington in 2006 and completed her J.D. at the University of Washington School of Law in 2010. Those years in the Puget Sound area helped shape the local perspective she brings to her work.
She joined Kraft Davies Olsson PLLC in 2011. That step came a year after she finished law school. Over the years she has remained at the same firm, building a steady practice and courtroom presence. Colleagues describe her as methodical and direct in preparing cases and handling client matters.
Olsson is admitted to practice in Washington and in federal courts that cover the state. Her credentials include admission to the Ninth Circuit and to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. She also holds membership in the Washington State Bar Association since 2011 and maintains an active association with the Washington State Association for Justice.
Her work at the firm involves litigation in both state and federal forums. She handles case preparation, filings and hearings at trial and appellate levels permitted by her admissions. That docket exposes her to procedural and substantive issues across different court systems in the Pacific Northwest.
Outside the courtroom she participates in bar-related activities and professional networks. Staying current on rules and case law matters to her practice. Those activities support her courtroom work and client representation by keeping procedural knowledge up to date.
She remains based at Kraft Davies Olsson PLLC, where she represents clients in matters brought in Washington state and in federal courts that hear cases from the region. Her current practice centers on representing clients in Washington state and federal courts.
