About Gurpreet Singh
Gurpreet Singh Gill built his early legal experience in public service. In 2018 he served as a Rule 9 extern in the Pierce County Auditor’s Office, working inside a government office while he learned how public processes intersect with legal requirements. That role was an early test of translating legal concepts into practical administrative work.
He moved into private practice the following year, joining Bullivant Houser Bailey as an associate in 2019. At that firm he was part of a larger team environment, where he worked on matters typical to a regional law office and learned to manage complex files and coordinate with senior counsel. The associate role gave him steady exposure to litigation preparation and client contacts.
In 2022 Gill joined McFerran Law, P.S. as a lawyer. That position placed him in a smaller firm setting with more direct client responsibility. He handled a range of matters and became more involved in day-to-day decision making for cases and client strategy. The shift illustrated a common arc in practice: more autonomy and closer relationships with the people he represented.
By 2024 he was practicing at Gill Legal Strategies PLLC. The move to that office continued his pattern of moving from institutional roles to settings where he could shape the delivery of legal services. Across these positions he has balanced research, drafting, court filings, and client counseling. Those tasks form the core of the work he has done since his time as an extern.
Colleagues describe Gill as methodical and steady in the way he approaches files. He tends to break complex problems into manageable parts, and he focuses on clear communication with clients and other lawyers. He has worked in both public and private sectors, which has given him perspective on how regulatory and administrative systems affect cases and transactions.
He is licensed to practice in Washington and has continued to build his practice there. He continues to work from offices at Gill Legal Strategies PLLC and represents clients on matters that arise under Washington law. He currently practices at Gill Legal Strategies PLLC, representing clients in matters arising under Washington law.
