About Brady

Brady Douglas took a conventional path into law but has moved through a mix of firm and in-house roles that shaped a practical approach to corporate matters. He earned his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2014 after beginning his studies in 2011. The Seattle-area law school provided a foundation in both litigation and transactional work and placed him in the regional legal market where he would build his early practice.

Fresh out of law school Douglas joined Karr Tuttle Campbell, PLLC in 2014. He worked there as an associate and cut his teeth on the day-to-day demands of firm life. The next calendar year he shifted to Fenwick & West LLP as an associate. Fenwick exposed him to technology clients and the kind of transactional matters that dominate the intersection of law and Silicon Valley-style business models.

In 2019 Douglas moved to a corporate counsel role at Amazon. That in-house position required a different rhythm: faster approvals, closer collaboration with business units and an eye for risk that had to match commercial timelines. He handled contracts and internal advising rather than external litigation. The shift illustrated an ability to move between law firm structure and corporate legal departments without losing momentum.

A year later he returned to private practice as a senior associate at Menzer Law Office, PLLC. The title reflects seniority gained through cumulative experience rather than time served at any single employer. At Menzer, he carries responsibilities that combine contract drafting, deal support and client counseling. He applies lessons from both Big Law and in-house practice to smaller-firm matters where clients often seek direct, practical advice.

Douglas is admitted to practice in Washington. His background includes work on commercial agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, and internal corporate governance matters. Colleagues describe him as methodical in document work and pragmatic when setting priorities for negotiations. He has moved fluidly between drafting assignments and advising executives on tradeoffs.

He has stayed in the Pacific Northwest throughout his career, a pattern that has kept him close to local clients and regional business issues. He continues to update his skills as legal work around technology and commerce evolves. He now handles corporate and business matters at Menzer Law Office, PLLC.
