About Marisa
Marisa Bellair earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Syracuse University and later received her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Her academic path combined an interest in government and public affairs with formal legal training. Classroom study at Quinnipiac introduced her to litigation and client advocacy while her undergraduate years in Syracuse shaped her understanding of public policy and civic institutions.
After law school, Bellair moved into practice in Connecticut. She joined Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante, P.C., where she serves as a lawyer. At the firm she has taken on a range of assignments that reflect the daily demands of private practice—drafting pleadings, handling client consultations, and working on matters that require attention to procedural detail. Colleagues describe her approach as steady and practical. She balances courtroom preparation with the paperwork and client communication that shape outcomes outside of trial.
Bellair is an active member of the Connecticut State Bar. She participates in the bar as a member and relies on that professional network to stay current on state rules and emerging practice issues. Her membership also supports routine professional obligations such as continuing legal education and local court practice updates. Those elements underpin much of her day-to-day work and help her navigate procedural and ethical questions when they arise.
Her work at Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante places her in the firm environment where collaboration is part of the workflow. She coordinates with other lawyers, paralegals, and support staff on case strategy and file management. The practice has required her to adapt to shifting priorities, meet court deadlines, and communicate clearly with clients about options and next steps. She draws on her academic background in political science when considering the broader context of legal disputes and when framing arguments for courts or opposing counsel.
Bellair is licensed to practice in Connecticut and continues to work from the firm's offices in the state. She represents clients in Connecticut state matters and advises on a range of legal issues handled by her firm, focusing her practice on serving local clients in state courts and administrative proceedings.
