About Maria

Maria Morse built a legal foundation through study and early courtroom exposure. She earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Canisius College in 2012, a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2016, and an LL.M. from Trinity College Dublin in 2017. The combination of domestic legal training and an international graduate degree shaped her approach to casework and research.

Her practical experience began while she was still a student. She interned at Buffalo City Court and Supreme Court in 2012 and served as a Sappern Fellow at the Connecticut Superior Court in 2014. In 2015 she worked as a judicial extern for the United States District Court and took on summer law clerk duties at Grady & Riley. After completing her LL.M., she spent time as an intern at Augustus Cullen Law in 2017.

Morse moved into full-time practice in 2018, joining Tully Rinckey PLLC as a lawyer. She joined Nave Law Office as an associate in 2021 and later took on an of counsel role there in 2024. In the same year she became a partner at Youngman & Morse, PLLC. The sequence shows a steady rise through different firm roles and increasing responsibility in firm leadership.

She is admitted to practice in New York and maintains memberships in local and specialized professional groups. Her membership list includes Council of Parent Lawyers and Advocates, Inc. and the Onondaga County Bar Association, both current. Those ties reflect ongoing engagement with court practitioners and community-oriented legal work.

Morse’s academic background in criminal justice and sociology, combined with courtroom and clerkship experience, informs her work. She has handled matters that require both litigation readiness and careful factual development. Colleagues describe her as methodical and exacting in case preparation, and her resume shows repeated work inside courts and trial-focused firms.

She currently serves as partner at Youngman & Morse, PLLC and as of counsel at Nave Law Office, practicing in New York. Her current practice is based in New York, where she serves as partner at Youngman & Morse, PLLC and of counsel at Nave Law Office.
