About Maria Mancini
Maria Mancini Scott began her academic journey at Tufts University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1990. She went on to complete her legal studies at Suffolk University Law School, where she received her J.D. The combination of a liberal arts undergraduate degree and a law school education set the stage for a steady legal career in Massachusetts.
She joined the Massachusetts bar in 1995 and has maintained membership in the Massachusetts State Bar since then. That long-standing affiliation reflects a continuous presence in the state’s legal community and an ongoing engagement with professional standards and requirements.
Early in her career, Scott took roles that exposed her to the practical demands of day-to-day legal work. Over time she developed the kinds of skills that firms seek in litigation and transactional settings: legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and managing client communications. Those tasks form the backbone of much of her professional practice and inform how she approaches each matter.
Scott’s current role is as an associate at The Keches Law Group, P.C. In that capacity she contributes to case preparation and court filings and supports trial and hearing work when matters proceed to the courtroom. As an associate, she regularly coordinates with colleagues, advises clients about procedural steps, and helps translate complex legal questions into practical options for those she represents.
Her work at the firm is grounded in steady attention to detail and a preference for clear, direct counsel. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and client-centered in the sense that she aims to make legal processes understandable to nonlawyers. She maintains professional ties through the state bar, staying informed about developments in Massachusetts law and practice.
Now in practice at The Keches Law Group, P.C., Scott continues to represent clients in Massachusetts and to handle the litigation and case-management responsibilities assigned to her by the firm. Her current practice focuses on serving clients through the firm’s office in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
