About Qin
Qin Zhou began her legal path at Suffolk University Law School, where she earned her J.D. in 2022. She finished law school as a member of a class entering practice in a fast-moving legal market. That academic foundation led quickly to public-sector experience and then private practice.
While still in law school, Zhou worked in state government. In 2021 she served as a litigation intern at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. The role exposed her to regulatory and administrative facets of state law and offered on-the-ground experience in litigation-related work during a formative moment in her training.
After graduation Zhou moved into private practice. In 2023 she joined Mullane, Michel & McInnes, LLP as a lawyer. The transition from internship to associate reflected a common progression for early-career attorneys who combine public and private experience. Her time at the firm has been part of the early years in which she has been admitted to practice and gained courtroom admissions.
Zhou holds several professional credentials that broaden the scope of matters she may handle. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts through the Board of Bar Overseers of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. She also holds admission to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and to the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Beyond her legal licensure, Zhou is a Massachusetts-licensed real estate broker through the state Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons and is commissioned as a notary public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Her professional affiliations include memberships in the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She maintains current membership across these organizations, which serve as forums for continuing legal education and professional networking for attorneys practicing in Massachusetts.
Colleagues describe her as part of a generation of attorneys who move between public service and private-sector roles early in their careers. That trajectory has given her exposure to regulatory work, litigation practice, and transactional matters tied to real estate. She currently practices at Mullane, Michel & McInnes, LLP, handling civil litigation, real estate transactions, and related matters.
