About Marc Aaron

Marc Aaron Goldbach earned his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1979 and his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1983. Those academic steps set the basic arc of a career spent largely in California courts and in federal appellate work. His training at Southwestern came at a time when many of his peers were finding niches in litigation and appellate practice; Goldbach took a path that kept him connected to both levels of the judiciary.

He has practiced with the Goldbach Law Group since 1989. That long tenure has given him continuity in a profession often defined by short stays and frequent moves. Over the years he has handled matters that required filings, hearings and written argument on appeal. He is licensed in California and authorized to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, a combination that has shaped the kinds of matters that come to his desk.

Goldbach’s courtroom experience stretches from initial filings in state trial courts to briefs and oral argument at the appellate level. He has navigated procedural and substantive issues in both settings, and his work routinely involves written advocacy. His involvement in appellate proceedings reflects the practice rights he holds in the Ninth Circuit, which in turn affects case strategy for clients who face decisions with regional or national implications.

Those who have followed his career will note its steady, practice-oriented character. Rather than frequent lateral moves or shifts into other fields, Goldbach has consolidated his practice under the same firm name for decades. That stability has allowed him to deepen institutional knowledge and manage a caseload that often intersects trial work and post-judgment appeals. He has also remained engaged with the professional community throughout his career.

Today Goldbach continues to practice under the Goldbach Law Group name. He maintains a practice that involves representation in California state courts and appearances before the Ninth Circuit. His day-to-day work includes case preparation, court filings, and appellate advocacy, and he remains active in managing matters for clients in those forums.
