About Brinda

Brinda Gandhi practices law across two legal systems. She is admitted in California and also maintains ties to the Indian bar. Her career spans private practice, in-house work and roles in both countries that give her a comparative view of family law practice.

Gandhi's legal training began in India. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce in 2002 from Jai Hindu jobs and completed an LL.B. at K.C. Law College, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, in 2005. She later added a Personal Leadership Certificate from Stanford University's LEAD program, a credential she pursued while expanding a practice that crosses national borders.

Her early years included a seat at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt Caroe, where she worked as an advocate. She moved into the corporate side as Assistant Manager-Legal at Citibank India in 2007, handling matters that required both transactional and compliance awareness. After gaining experience in-house, she returned to litigation and consulting, interning at the Joseph Farzam Law Office in 2010 and serving as a lawyer and legal consultant at Chugh, LLP in 2011. In 2021 she took on the role of Managing Lawyer at Envision Family Law, LLP.

Gandhi holds a Certified Family Law Specialist credential from the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. That designation identifies her work within California family law practice. Her portfolio includes divorce, child custody and support, and related financial issues. She also handles cases that raise cross-border questions, drawing on her familiarity with Indian legal procedures and California family law practice.

As Managing Lawyer at Envision Family Law, LLP, she oversees case management and client representation while coordinating with other counsel when matters touch multiple jurisdictions. She combines courtroom experience with negotiated resolutions and often navigates the procedural differences that arise in cross-jurisdictional family disputes. She currently practices family law at Envision Family Law, LLP, handling matters involving divorce, child custody and support, including cases that involve ties to India and California.
