About Lynn M.

Lynn M. Salvatore has practiced law in Florida for decades. She earned her law degree from the University of Florida in 1987 after completing a bachelor’s degree in management at Loyola University New Orleans in 1983. That combination of legal training and business education shaped an early interest in public service and family law work.

Her early career placed her inside state systems that touch children and families. In 1995 she served as Assistant District Legal Counsel at the Department of Children & Families. Two years later she worked as a Program Lawyer for the Fourth Judicial Circuit’s Guardian ad Litem Program. Those roles required regular courtroom appearances, case evaluations and collaboration with social service professionals.

Salvatore moved into private practice in the early 2000s. She opened the Law Office of Lynn M. Salvatore in 2002 and ran that practice for several years. In 2009 she became co-owner of Vogel & Salvatore, P.A., joining a small firm environment where she continued handling matters related to families and child welfare.

Her casework has included contested custody and dependency proceedings, guardianship matters and related family law disputes. She represents parents, guardians and agencies in court. Her background at the Department of Children & Families and the Guardian ad Litem Program informs how she approaches investigations, evidentiary issues and client counseling.

Outside of courtrooms she has remained engaged with professional peers. She has been a member of the Florida Family Law American Inn of Court since 2010. That involvement put her in regular contact with fellow family law practitioners and judges, and offered ongoing opportunities for discussion of procedural and ethical developments in family law.

Colleagues describe her as steady under pressure and attentive to procedural detail. She has handled both trial work and the negotiation of settlements. Her practice requires familiarity with child welfare statutes, injunctions and the evidentiary standards that govern dependency cases, and those elements recur in the matters she takes on.

As of 2026 she continues active practice in Florida. She is co-owner of Vogel & Salvatore, P.A., where she practices in family law and child welfare matters.
