About Lucrece
Lucrece Bundy earned her Bachelor of Arts from Creighton University in 2003 and completed her J.D. at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Law in 2009. Her legal education combined coursework in trial advocacy and research. Those years in school laid the groundwork for a courtroom-centered practice and an interest in appellate procedure.
After law school she established a practice in Nebraska. She is admitted to the Nebraska bar and to the Federal Circuit, allowing her to handle matters that move beyond the state level into specialized federal appellate review. Bundy has maintained ties to the professional community in Omaha and across the state, holding membership in the Omaha Bar Association.
Her work covers litigation in Nebraska state courts and filings that proceed to federal appellate venues. That mix means she manages both first-instance disputes and the preparation of appellate briefs and records when cases advance. She handles procedural work required for appeals, including the drafting of briefs and the presentation of arguments where permitted by the court.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and attentive to court rules and deadlines. She approaches matters in a pragmatic manner, prioritizing clarity in filings and adherence to procedural standards. In hearings she tends to work through the legal issues in a straightforward way, aiming to present the relevant law and factual record cleanly to judges and clerks.
Outside courtroom work she participates in bar activities that keep her engaged with developments in Nebraska practice. Her professional memberships provide regular contact with peers and a forum for practice-related discussion. She also remains involved in continuing legal education requirements that support practice before both state and federal tribunals.
She currently practices in Nebraska and handles litigation in state courts as well as filings and appeals in the Federal Circuit.
