About Kelly Henry
Kelly Henry Turner has built a career that moves between courtroom work and the quieter work of resolving disputes. She completed her legal education at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, earning her J.D. in 2002 after earlier studies at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Purdue University, where she earned a B.A. and an M.S., respectively. Those academic stops set a geographic arc that later unfolded in two state bars.
Her first positions out of law school placed her in Chicago. In 2004 she worked at Richardson Stasko Boyd & Mack, LLC. A year later she left to establish her own practice in Omaha. The Law Offices of Kelly Henry Turner opened in 2005. That solo venture lasted through a period of community-based work and client counseling. The next chapter came in 2015 when she joined Drew Law Office P.C. L.L.O. as a lawyer. In 2021 she became a partner and mediator at Goosmann Law Office.
Across those moves, Turner added mediation credentials. She holds a certificate as an Approved Nebraska Mediator issued by the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution. That credential formalizes an area of practice she has increasingly embraced alongside traditional lawyering.
Turner is active in the bar communities of both states where she practices. She has been a member of the Illinois Bar Association since 2003 and joined the Nebraska State Bar Association in 2005. Those memberships reflect a bi-state practice and a professional life that crosses municipal and state lines.
Her work history shows a mix of private firm experience, solo practice and partnership. She has handled client representation in firm settings in Chicago and Omaha and built a practice that includes mediation services. Colleagues describe her as someone who shifts between advocacy and neutral roles depending on the matter at hand.
Today Turner practices at Goosmann Law Office PC, where she serves as a partner and mediator. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Nebraska and divides her time between casework and dispute resolution. Her current practice centers on mediation and civil representation at Goosmann Law Office PC.
