About Louis
Louis Vocelle studied at Wake Forest University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1978. He continued his education at Florida State University College of Law and received his J.D. in 1982. Those years set the foundation for a career centered on courtroom work, business disputes and settlement processes.
After law school, Vocelle built a practice that moved steadily into civil litigation and trial work. Over decades he has accumulated experience trying cases and preparing matters for trial. He also developed a role in alternative dispute resolution, serving in capacities that require both legal judgment and procedural control.
Vocelle holds several professional certifications that reflect that mix of litigation and mediation work. He is a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator under the Florida Supreme Court. He also is board certified by The Florida Bar as a Business Litigator and as a Civil Trial Lawyer. Those credentials indicate recognized training and testing in core aspects of civil trial practice and business litigation.
Courtroom practice and case management have been central themes in Vocelle’s career. He has handled business-related lawsuits and civil disputes that required jury trials, dispositive motion practice and complex discovery. His work includes structuring trial strategies and conducting examinations of witnesses. He has also spent substantial time preparing and conducting mediations, where procedural rules and negotiation technique intersect.
Beyond trials and mediation sessions, Vocelle’s work involves advising clients on litigation posture and remedial options. That counsel ranges from early case assessment to formal litigation plans. He has continued to adapt as procedural rules and business norms changed over time, balancing advocacy in court with efforts to resolve disputes outside it.
Vocelle maintains professional involvement through the credentials he holds and by keeping pace with evolving case law and practice rules. He combines the hands-on demands of trial work with the procedural responsibilities of a circuit civil mediator. In practice he has emphasized methodical case preparation and practical advocacy aimed at resolving contentious issues.
He currently practices in Florida, where he splits his time between civil trials, business litigation and mediation work. He currently focuses on civil litigation, business disputes and mediation.
