About Loren E.

Loren E. Laskoski has a background that begins away from the courthouse and ends up inside it. He earned a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire in 2001 and went on to take a law degree at Roger Williams University School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2008. The path between those diplomas includes work in the field and work in the office, and it shaped the way he approaches evidence and storytelling in the courtroom.

Fresh out of college, Laskoski spent time as an archaeologist at the Public Archaeology Laboratory in 2001. That early career in fieldwork required patience, attention to context and a respect for careful documentation. He carried those habits into his legal studies and then into practice.

Records list him at The Keches Law Group, P.C., beginning in 2007. He has practiced in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts bar associations, and participates in the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Rhode Island Association for Justice. Those memberships reflect an involvement in trial work across state and federal forums.

Colleagues describe him as methodical at trial. He prepares exhibits, drafts pleadings and questions witnesses with an eye toward chronological clarity. He favors careful preparation over improvisation. His archaeological training helps when cases turn on small facts that change the larger narrative.

Laskoski’s career has been steady rather than flashy. He moved from the Public Archaeology Laboratory into law school, then into a legal office role and courtroom practice. His professional memberships keep him connected to peers in both states. He regularly appears in state and federal courtrooms where contested fact patterns require trial skills.

Outside the courtroom he has maintained ties to professional organizations that support trial advocacy and the bar more broadly. Those connections provide forums for continuing legal education and exchanges on practice issues common to litigators in New England.

He is currently affiliated with The Keches Law Group, P.C., where he practices in state and federal courts, handling matters that proceed to trial in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and continues to maintain active bar memberships in both states.
