About Logan
Logan Sliva studied business at the University of Florida before turning to law at the University of Kansas School of Law. He combined a background in business and legal training early in his career, a mix that has informed the types of matters he handles and the professional communities he joined. He keeps a pragmatic approach to practice, shaped by both classroom work and courtroom exposure.
He began practicing law in the Pensacola area and established Sliva Law Office, LLC in 2013. That year marked the start of his solo practice, where he has handled matters that intersect bankruptcy and commercial concerns. Over the years he has become a familiar presence in local proceedings and in bankruptcy court filings in the Northern District of Florida.
Sliva’s case work runs against a backdrop of active engagement in bar organizations. He has been a member of the Escambia/Santa Rosa Bar Association since 2013 and joined its Young Lawyers Division in 2017. He moved into leadership there, serving on the division’s board and later as its treasurer beginning in 2021. His involvement in regional groups extends to the NWFL Bar Association and membership in the Florida Bar Association since 2013.
Bankruptcy practice is a consistent thread in Sliva’s professional life. He has been involved with the Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Bar Association since 2017, taking on officer roles including secretary, treasurer and then president for the 2021–2022 term. He also serves on the Northern District of Florida Bankruptcy Court Local Rules Committee, a position he has held since 2020. Those roles have kept him close to the procedural and administrative developments that affect bankruptcy practitioners in the region.
Peers describe him as engaged in association work and willing to serve in administrative capacities. He has balanced that service with running his own office, handling client matters, and appearing in bankruptcy and federal district venues when cases require it. The combination of solo practice and active committee work gives him a steady presence in local legal circles.
Today he is an attorney admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. He maintains his office under the name Sliva Law Office, LLC and concentrates his practice on bankruptcy-related matters and related commercial issues.
