About Sean J.
Sean J. Fisher is an attorney who has built a career that moves between in-house litigation work and private practice. He studied at the University of Connecticut and later completed undergraduate and law degrees, earning a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies and a J.D. He brings both courtroom experience and corporate litigation practice to his current role.
Fisher’s academic path included studies at the University of Connecticut and the University of Delaware, where he completed his undergraduate work in criminal justice and legal studies. He went on to earn his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. That blend of criminal justice and legal training shaped his early approach to litigation and client counseling.
He spent the mid-2010s in a corporate litigation environment. In 2016 he worked as in-house litigation counsel for Midland Credit Management, Inc., handling defense-side work and consumer-related disputes. That position gave him regular exposure to contested litigation and regulatory issues tied to consumer credit. After his time in-house he returned to private practice. He joined Woodward Law Group as a senior associate in 2019, where he handled civil litigation matters and case management for a varied client base.
In 2020 Fisher took a senior role at Good Life Legal Services. He has been listed as a senior lawyer there since that year. Across his work history he has handled contested matters, motion practice, and case strategy. He has practiced in multiple jurisdictions and maintains admissions in Kentucky, Florida and New Jersey. Those multi-state admissions have allowed him to take cases that cross state lines and to advise clients on jurisdictional issues.
Colleagues describe his practice style as pragmatic. He works through litigation step by step and focuses on dispute resolution in both negotiation and court settings. His mix of in-house and private-firm experience gives him familiarity with the needs of corporate clients as well as individuals. He has participated in hearings, drafted dispositive motions, and managed discovery in complex consumer and civil matters.
Today, Fisher is based at Good Life Legal Services. He continues to handle litigation and related matters in the jurisdictions where he is admitted. His current practice focuses on consumer litigation and credit-related disputes.
