About Lindsey B.

Lindsey B. Silver built her legal foundation at Northeastern University School of Law, earning her J.D. in 2012 after completing undergraduate studies at Wellesley College in 2007 where she read political science and philosophy. Those academic years shaped how she approaches complex legal questions. They also set the stage for work in both trial and appellate settings.

After law school she entered private practice and now serves as an associate lawyer at Pugsley Wood LLP. Her role centers on the day-to-day tasks that move cases forward: legal research, drafting motions and briefs, preparing witnesses, and handling court filings. She contributes to case strategy meetings and works alongside partners and colleagues on multi-stage matters.

Silver holds admissions to the Massachusetts bar as well as to the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Those credentials allow her to represent clients in state trial proceedings, federal trial courts, and in appeals within the First Circuit. Membership in the State Bar of Massachusetts is part of her professional standing.

Colleagues describe her work as careful and methodical. She spends much of her time analyzing statutes, precedents, and factual records to craft arguments for judges and opposing counsel. That attention to detail shows up in briefs and oral presentations. It also matters in settlement discussions, where the record and legal posture can shape outcomes.

At Pugsley Wood LLP, Silver participates in the collaborative workflow common to midsize litigation teams. She handles pretrial discovery, motions practice, and appellate filings under partner supervision. The firm environment gives her repeated exposure to courtroom procedure and appellate briefing, and it places her daily in a practice that crosses trial and appellate lines.

Outside the courtroom, she maintains the sorts of professional obligations expected of active bar members, including continuing legal education and participation in bar activities tied to Massachusetts practice. That background supports her standing before federal and state tribunals and keeps her current on procedural and substantive developments.

She currently practices at Pugsley Wood LLP, representing clients in federal and state courts in Massachusetts.
