About Lindsay
Lindsay Truly graduated from Baylor University in 2007 with a B.B.A. in entrepreneurship. She went on to earn her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2011. Those years set the foundation for a career that has moved between public service and private practice in Texas.
Her first post-law school role placed her in Tarrant County, where she served as an Assistant Criminal District Lawyer in 2012. That early courtroom exposure gave her direct experience in the mechanics of criminal cases and the work of prosecutors. After a year in public office she shifted into corporate work, bringing an understanding of litigation and case management to a different setting.
In 2015 she joined CoreLogic, Inc. as an Associate Corporate Counsel. At CoreLogic she handled legal matters for a national data and analytics company, working on issues typical for in-house counsel. The next year she returned to private practice, joining Hoeller McLaughlin PLLC as a senior associate. Her progression at the firm continued and she became a partner there in 2020.
Truly maintains active ties to the legal community in Tarrant County and across Texas. She has been a member of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association since 2009 and joined the Tarrant County Defense Lawyers Association in 2015. She is also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, where she has held membership since 2018. Those affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with peers and local legal institutions rather than a single professional label.
She is licensed to practice in Texas and works at Hoeller McLaughlin PLLC. Her practice draws on both her time in the county prosecutor’s office and her in-house corporate experience. She now practices criminal defense in Texas state courts and handles related matters at the firm.
