About Lindsay Gunn
Lindsay Gunn Spiller built a legal foundation in two well-regarded institutions. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Berkeley in 1980, studying Political Economies of Industrialized Societies. She went on to earn a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1985. Those years set the stage for a career that has bridged different legal communities and geographic regions.
After law school she entered practice and over time moved into private practice leadership. In 2006 she founded Spiller Law and serves as its principal lawyer. She is admitted to practice in both the District of Columbia and California. Alongside running her firm, she has maintained long-term professional affiliations; records show she has held professional memberships since 1989 and that she has served as a panel and referral attorney for California Lawyers for the Arts since 2008.
Her association with California Lawyers for the Arts is a recurring part of her public profile. Serving on the panel and taking referrals connects her practice to an organization that coordinates legal assistance for creative professionals, and she has continued in that role for many years. That service sits alongside the private-client work undertaken through her firm and reflects a pattern of public-facing involvement in the legal community.
At Spiller Law she handles the matters that come through a small private firm led by its founder. Her practice is conducted from that firm and spans representation across the jurisdictions where she is licensed. She remains active in the legal community through ongoing membership and through the panel work she performs for California Lawyers for the Arts. She currently practices through Spiller Law, representing clients in both the District of Columbia and California.
