Linda Jeanne Linton is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California and Nevada. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Linton is a member of Linton & Associates P.C., a law firm located at 6900 S. McCarran Blvd., Suite 2040, Reno, NV 89509. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients in both California and Nevada.
Ms. Linton earned her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, graduating in 1994. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nevada-Reno, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990. During her time at Golden Gate University, she was recognized on the Dean's List for two years and participated in the International Law Program through the University of St. Mary's School of Law in Innsbruck, Austria, focusing on international Supreme Courts, international transactions, and transnational employment law.
Ms. Linton's practice areas include administrative law, animal law, arbitration and mediation, environmental law, estate planning, and government law. She represents clients in matters involving wildlife conservation, environmental regulations, and administrative proceedings. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including hearings, appeals, litigation, negotiations, and trials in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Linton has handled cases in the Superior Court of California, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. She has also appeared before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as a paralegal assisting medical malpractice defense trial attorneys, mining and gaming attorneys, and later as an attorney representing professionals in litigation and business formation.
Ms. Linton is an active member of the California State Bar and the Nevada State Bar. She is also a member of the Washoe County Bar Association. She is fluent in written French, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
