About Leonid

Leonid Kishinevsky began his academic path at the University of Notre Dame, where he completed both a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing in 2006. He moved to Louisiana for law school and earned a Juris Doctor and a Diploma of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2009. Those dual law credentials reflect training in both common-law and civil-law traditions.

After law school Kishinevsky entered private practice and built a courtroom practice that spans state and federal forums. He is admitted to practice in Texas and holds federal admissions in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Southern Districts of Texas. He also is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to handle matters from trial through appeal.

His work is primarily trial and litigation oriented. He represents clients in contested matters that require filings and hearings in Texas courts and in the federal districts where he is admitted. He handles pretrial motion practice, evidentiary hearings and bench or jury trials, and he has experience taking cases to the Fifth Circuit when appellate review is necessary. His practice involves preparing legal strategy, managing discovery, and presenting evidence in court.

Kishinevsky has remained active in the legal community throughout his career. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, a membership he has maintained since 2013. Locally, he belongs to the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, both memberships dating to 2018. He also joined the Houston Young Lawyers Association in 2017. Those affiliations keep him connected to peers, courtroom developments and local practice issues.

He practices under the name Kishinevsky Law Office, PLLC. The firm handles civil litigation in both state and federal courts across Texas, and it routinely appears in the federal districts where he holds admission. He manages client matters from initial complaint through trial and, when necessary, appellate briefing and argument. He currently focuses his practice on litigation in Texas state and federal courts.
