Lee Alan Hacklander is a seasoned family law attorney based in Savage, Minnesota, with over 29 years of dedicated experience. Specializing in divorce, domestic violence, and a range of family law matters, he has established a reputation for his commitment to clients. Hacklander earned his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in 1996, laying the foundation for a career focused on family law. Hacklander began his legal career at Legal Aid Service of Northeastern Minnesota from 1996 to 1999, where he gained inexperience serving clients in need. In December 2025, the Minnesota Supreme Court issued a public reprimand against Hacklander for professional misconduct. This reprimand stemmed from an incident where he affixed another attorney's electronic signature to a court document without consent. He misrepresented to the court that the attorney had reviewed and approved the document, violating Minnesota Rules of Professional Conduct 3.3(a)(1), 8.4(c), and 8.4(d). Despite this disciplinary action, Hacklander remains an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and continues to practice law in Minnesota. Hacklander is also deeply involved in the legal community — He has been a member of the First Judicial District Bar Association since 2005.
His commitment extends beyond his practice; he has volunteered with organizations such as the Hennepin County Volunteer Lawyers Network and Legal Aid of Dakota County.
