About Lauren M.

Lauren M. Hill earned her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Camden. She trained in a law school known for a heavy clinical component and several appellate clinics. After graduation she gained admission to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, joining courts on both sides of the Delaware River as part of her early career.

Her time as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael J. Haas in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division, exposed her to appellate procedure and opinion drafting. She observed argument days and assisted with research that supported panel decisions. Those months in the courthouse tightened her understanding of standards of review and the cadence of appellate work.

At McOmber McOmber & Luber she served as a law clerk. In that role she supported litigators by researching case law and preparing memoranda. She worked on pleadings and drafted motions under attorney supervision. The position required attention to state court rules and an ability to synthesize complex filings into concise briefs for trial and appellate dockets.

Her practical experience centers on litigation support and appellate matters in state courts. She has spent time preparing appellate briefs and assembling records for submission. That work sits alongside trial preparation tasks: compiling exhibits, drafting witness statements and coordinating filings with court clerks. Colleagues describe her as methodical in research and careful in drafting.

Hill maintains membership in the State Bar of New Jersey. She attends continuing legal education programs to stay current on changes in procedural law and appellate practice. Outside the courtroom she has continued to study developments in evidence and civil procedure that affect both trial-level litigation and appeals.

She practices at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., where she handles litigation support, appellate briefing and trial preparation for matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts. Her current practice focuses on state-court litigation and appellate work across both jurisdictions.
