About Kyle Daniel
Kyle Daniel Johnson graduated from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law with a J.D. in 2017. He arrived at law school after undergraduate study and finished at a time when the legal market was shifting quickly. He remembers the early lessons of practice — attention to detail, clear writing and patience in negotiations — and those habits have shaped how he works.
He is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Colorado. Early in his career he built experience across state lines, learning how different courts and rules can affect the pace and strategy of a case. That dual admission has informed his practice choices and how he advises clients about forum and procedure.
Johnson is an active member of the Colorado Bar Association Public And Legal Services section and holds membership in the Denver Bar Association. He attends bar events and continuing legal education programs in both jurisdictions. Those memberships give him exposure to local rules and to colleagues who handle related matters.
He joined Prosser Clapper and Johnson PLLC as the firm grew its presence in the region. At the firm he works alongside colleagues whose expertise spans litigation and transactional matters. His work at Prosser Clapper and Johnson involves drafting pleadings, preparing briefs and counseling clients on practical next steps when disputes arise. He also spends time preparing casework for depositions and hearings.
Clients and other lawyers describe him as methodical in his preparation and straightforward in his courtroom demeanor. He balances a calm, measured approach on procedural issues with a readiness to press for favorable outcomes when the facts support it. He does not court headlines. Instead, he focuses on the legal mechanics that determine whether a matter settles or proceeds to trial.
Outside of firm matters he stays current on changes in state practice and procedure, especially in areas where Tennessee and Colorado law differ. He often compares recent decisions and rule changes to advise clients on timing and likely outcomes. That practical attention helps clients understand options without overstating the odds.
He practices law at Prosser Clapper and Johnson PLLC, handling matters in Tennessee and Colorado state courts and providing legal services through the firm's offices.
