About Kristy L.
Kristy L. Fischmann earned her law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2007 after completing a bachelor’s degree at Utica College of Syracuse University in 2003. She arrived at law school after an undergraduate course of study in central New York and finished at a time when many graduates were entering a competitive legal market. Her academic record placed her among contemporaries produced by Syracuse’s programs in litigation and public law.
After law school she became licensed to practice in New York and in the federal courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of New York. Those admissions allow her to appear in both state and federal trial courts. Over time she has built a practice rooted in courtroom work and representation across multiple venues in the state.
Fischmann joined Bottar Law, PLLC as Of Counsel in 2018. In that role she has taken on trial preparation, motion practice and courtroom appearances.
