About Kristine
Kristine Demo-Vazquez took her legal training at New England. She moved into practice in New York after completing her studies and has spent more than two decades working in the state’s legal community.
She was admitted to the New York bar in 2004 and has maintained her membership in the New York State Bar ever since. Those early years of practice established a base in both courtroom work and client advising. Over time her day-to-day work has continued to blend advocacy, counseling and document work.
Her practice has required regular appearances in state courts as well as routine interaction with opposing counsel and administrative bodies. She has handled pleadings, motions and settlement discussions. She also takes time to prepare transactional and contractual documents when clients require written agreements or formal opinions.
Membership in the New York State Bar has been a constant since 2004. That affiliation anchors her professional standing and underscores her ongoing eligibility to practice in New York. She has kept pace with continuing legal education and the procedural changes that come through the state courts and regulatory bodies.
Colleagues describe her as thorough in case preparation and pragmatic in court. She approaches disputes with an eye toward resolving core issues and minimizing unnecessary expense. In transactional settings she aims to clarify obligations and reduce ambiguity so clients face fewer surprises down the road.
Her work has unfolded entirely in New York jurisdictional settings. That continuity has given her familiarity with local court practices and regional legal networks. She has stayed in private practice rather than pursuing a judicial or academic post.
Today she continues to practice law in New York. She concentrates her practice on matters arising under New York law and on advising clients who require representation or counsel in state courts.
