About Kristina
Kristina Georgiou took a direct route into law. She earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law and moved quickly into practice. The classroom work there informed her approach to the bench and the client file. She left law school ready to dive into the day-to-day of litigation and case management.
She joined Napoli Shkolnik PLLC as an associate. In that role she has handled research, drafted pleadings and motions, and taken part in discovery and trial preparation. Colleagues describe her as methodical in handling documents and practical in preparing files for hearings. She has worked alongside more senior lawyers on complex matters and contributed to the strategic planning that litigation often requires.
Georgiou keeps active in professional circles. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Queens County Bar Association, and she maintains other professional memberships. Those affiliations give her regular access to continuing education and local legal networks. They also provide forums for exchanging practical tips about courtroom procedure, evidence issues and settlement negotiation.
Her courtroom appearances and client meetings tend to reflect a hands-on approach. She spends substantial time preparing witness statements, coordinating with experts and managing discovery responses. She also handles client intake and counseling, translating procedural steps into plain language so clients understand what to expect at each stage. In practice she balances litigation tasks with client communication, aiming to keep cases moving while minimizing surprises for the people she represents.
Outside the firm, Georgiou has participated in continuing legal education programs and local bar events that keep her current on evolving rules and case law. She takes those updates back to the office and applies them to pending matters. That loop of learning and application is part of how she approaches the job: identify the room for improvement, test a new practice, and then adapt files accordingly.
She currently serves as an associate at Napoli Shkolnik PLLC, where she represents clients and works on litigation matters.
