About Konstantin

Konstantin Burshteyn trained as a lawyer at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he received his J.D. in 2009. He earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany, taking a double interest in political science and education and completing his B.A. in 2005. Those academic years gave him a foundation in legal reasoning and the policy issues that underlie many disputes that reach the courthouse.

After law school, Burshteyn moved into practice in New York. By 2013 he was listed as a senior lawyer at Pulvers, Pulvers & Thompson, LLP. That role placed him in a firm setting where managing cases, preparing clients for hearings, and coordinating pretrial work were daily tasks. He later joined Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro & Halperin, LLP and is recorded as a lawyer there in 2019. His career shows a steady progression from firm associate to a more senior practitioner over the course of a decade.

Colleagues and court records indicate that his work has been concentrated in New York courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect ongoing engagement with professional networks and continuing legal education. They also suggest an attention to courtroom procedure and trial practice, though his public profile does not catalog every matter he has handled.

Burshteyn’s practice to date has involved litigation tasks that range from drafting motions to appearing in hearings. He has experience managing the practical demands of case preparation: coordinating discovery, consulting with experts, and addressing evidentiary issues before the court. He has worked in teams and as lead counsel on matters that required a hands-on approach to client counseling and litigation strategy.

On a practical level he has handled the routine and the urgent aspects of civil litigation in New York. He has represented clients in pretrial proceedings and responded to the shifting demands of active dockets. His memberships in trial-oriented bar organizations indicate continued involvement in cases that proceed toward trial or resolution by settlement.

He currently practices at Wingate, Russotti, Shapiro & Halperin, LLP, handling civil litigation matters in New York.
