About Kirsten Marie
Kirsten Marie Fish is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2001. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Fish is a partner at Needham Kepner & Fish LLP, a law firm located in San Jose, California. She has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout the Bay Area.
Ms. Fish earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, graduating in 2001. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1998. During her time at Santa Clara University, she graduated summa cum laude, indicating high academic achievement.
Ms. Fish concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and elder abuse litigation. She represents individuals and families in matters involving car accidents, nursing home abuse, and other personal injury cases. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Fish has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Needham Kepner & Fish LLP, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in San Jose for several years.
Ms. Fish is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, serving on the Board of Governors since 2014 and participating in the Women's Caucus since 2012. She is also a member of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association, serving on the Board of Governors since 2010 and as President in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, she has been a faculty member at Lincoln Law School of San Jose, teaching Legal Research and Writing from 2009 to 2022 and Torts from 2014 to 2015. Ms. Fish is fluent in English, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of the Bay Area effectively.
