About Kirsten
Kirsten Bennett built her legal foundation over a decade of study on two continents. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from the State University of New York at Albany in 1996 and spent time studying at the University of Nottingham in England in 1995. Bennett then attended St. John’s University School of Law, completing her Juris Doctor in 2001.
After law school she pursued admission to practice and is authorized to appear in courts in both New York and Connecticut. Public records show those jurisdictions as the bases for her licensed practice. She has maintained an active presence in the Connecticut legal community and has operated an office there.
Her professional affiliations include a period of membership in the Danbury Bar Association from 2013 until 2020. She also holds a registration as a Secure Insight Registered Settlement Agent through Secure Insight, a credential that relates to settlement administration and payment processing. Those credentials inform part of the administrative work she handles for clients and third parties.
Colleagues describe Bennett as someone who handles procedural and administrative demands of resolving claims. Her work has involved the documentation and processing tasks that arise once settlements are reached. She balances the paperwork and oversight that settlement administration requires alongside the counsel and coordination attorneys often need after agreements are negotiated.
Bennett’s practice has been anchored in Connecticut, where she maintains a local office. Over the years her role has required familiarity with state and federal procedures in both New York and Connecticut, and she has worked with judges, trustees, claims administrators and counsel to close matters in an orderly way. Her registration as a settlement agent complements that work and reflects an emphasis on the administrative channels that conclude litigation.
She continues to serve clients and colleagues from her Connecticut office. Her current practice focuses on settlement administration and the administrative aspects of resolving claims.
