Kirk Matthew Tarman is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Tarman is the managing partner at The Law Offices of Kirk Tarman & Associates, a criminal defense firm with offices in Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles, California. He has been practicing law for over 26 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.
Mr. Tarman earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law, where he graduated in 1998. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1995. During his time at the University of La Verne, he was actively involved in various legal clinics and internships, gaining practical experience in criminal law.
Mr. Tarman concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, domestic violence, DUI and DWI, white-collar crime, and juvenile law. He represents individuals charged with a wide range of offenses, including drug crimes, assault, theft, and violent crimes. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Tarman has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Bernardino, the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Stan Hodge and the Law Offices of William Morshauser, where he gained valuable trial and defense experience.
Mr. Tarman is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He is also a member of the San Bernardino County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Tarman is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
