About Kirby J.
Kirby J. Fullerton built his legal foundation in two public universities in the Southeast. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Florida in 2007. He then continued his studies at the University of Kentucky College of Law, graduating with a J.D. in 2010. Those years shaped both his legal training and an interest in work that crosses language and national borders.
After law school, Fullerton moved into private practice. He joined Ahmad Law Office, PLLC as an associate in 2012. That role exposed him to the day-to-day demands of client representation and courtroom procedure. In 2014 he became a partner at CF Abogados, Carman and Fullerton, PLLC. The change reflected a shift in responsibilities. He took on case supervision and firm management while still handling client matters.
Fullerton is admitted to practice in Kentucky. He has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2014. That professional affiliation signals the area of law that occupies much of his practice. His undergraduate work in Spanish complements that trajectory and informs his interactions with Spanish-speaking clients.
Colleagues describe Fullerton as methodical in preparation and direct with clients. He balances the administrative aspects of partnership with work on individual matters. He has built experience managing cases that require both attention to procedural detail and clear client communication. He also spends time mentoring junior lawyers at his firm and helping to shape how cases are staffed and handled.
Clients who come to CF Abogados, Carman & Fullerton, PLLC can expect counsel grounded in formal legal training and sustained by courtroom and office experience. Fullerton’s path—University of Florida to University of Kentucky to private practice—has been steady and practical. He continues to serve clients in matters related to immigration law and related administrative issues at his firm.
