About Kina
Kina Harding studied at American University before attending Pepperdine University School of Law. She combined a liberal arts foundation with formal legal training. The two schools shaped a practice that moves between courtrooms and conference rooms.
She has practiced criminal law and family law at The Harding Firm since 2010. Early work involved arraignments and custody disputes. Over time she added trial work and negotiated settlements. Her caseload has ranged from misdemeanors to contested family law matters.
Harding is admitted to practice in Arizona and appears in the federal appellate courts where she holds permission to practice in the Ninth Circuit and the Federal Circuit. That mix of state and federal credentials has influenced the kinds of cases she accepts. It also affects how she prepares for hearings and appeals.
Her training includes an Advanced Civil Mediation and Parenting Coordination Certification from the Interaction Management Association Mediation and an International Conflict Resolution Certificate from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Those programs introduced structured mediation techniques and parent-focused coordination methods. She uses those tools in settlement conferences and parenting coordination sessions.
Between 2021 and 2023 Harding served on the board of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Her service there included committee work on local practice issues and outreach events. The experience gave her additional exposure to professional standards and to the concerns of lawyers practicing in the Phoenix area.
She practices from The Harding Firm, where she handles criminal defense, family law, mediation, and parenting coordination. Courtroom appearances remain part of her routine, but so do negotiated resolutions and case management for families. Her current practice focuses on criminal defense, family law disputes, and mediation work.
