About Kevin
Kevin Landry built a path to law from an early interest in science. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Vermont in 1988. He then moved into legal studies and received his J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1991. The mix of science and law shaped how he approaches problems: methodical, evidence-minded and attentive to detail.
After law school Landry settled into practice across New England and beyond. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, New York and Massachusetts. Those licenses have allowed him to handle matters that cross state lines and to serve a varied client base. Over the years he balanced courtroom work and counsel roles, often bringing an organized, analytical style to case preparation and client advice.
A notable thread through Landry’s career is bar association leadership. He has served as president of the Massachusetts Bar Association and as president of the Rhode Island Bar Association. Those roles put him in the center of debates about ethics, education and the administration of justice. Colleagues describe his tenure as one that emphasized practical concerns for practitioners and clearer channels for member services.
Outside the bar associations, Landry took on a leadership post in the business community. He was president of Business Networking International from 2007 until 2015. That period involved organizing meetings, mentoring newer members and encouraging cross-referrals among professionals. The experience reinforced his interest in connecting legal work to business realities and in helping other lawyers and professionals build sustainable practices.
Landry’s work blends client service, institutional leadership and mentoring. He has handled litigation and advisory matters while also devoting time to law practice governance and continuing legal education. Younger lawyers have sought his guidance on professional development and on the practicalities of running a practice. His current practice centers on counseling clients, handling litigation, and advising professional organizations across Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.
