Gage earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Willamette University College of Law in 1981. Prior to law school, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Greek from the University of Washington in 1976. His practice areas include divorce, separation, custody and visitation, complex property division, child and spousal support, grandparents' rights, and domestic partnerships. He also handles interstate and international family law issues and modifications of support and custody orders.
Mr. Gage has co-authored "Property Rights and Division," Chapter 6 of the Oregon State Bar's publication "Dissolution Practice." He has also authored other articles on domestic relations topics and has served as a speaker at domestic relations conferences. He is a member of the Marion County Bar Association and the Domestic Relations Section of the Oregon State Bar, where he has served on the Executive Committee and the Legislation Committee. He has also served as an arbitrator in domestic relations cases.
