About Kevin

Kevin Fernandez studied finance at the University of Pittsburgh before turning to law at Villanova University School of Law. He earned a B.S. in Finance, then completed his J.D. at Villanova. Law school shaped his early interest in public-service work and immigration matters. During his time at Villanova he took part in the clinic for asylum, refugee, and emigrant services, where he worked directly with clients and gained hands-on experience in asylum processes.

After law school, Fernandez continued to build experience in public defense and post-conviction relief. He served as Expungement Clinic Chair at the Montgomery County Public Defender Office. In that role he oversaw clinic operations, assisted clients seeking record sealing, and coordinated intake and case preparation. His clinic work required careful case screening, client interviews, and close attention to statutory deadlines and procedural rules.

Fernandez is licensed to practice law in Virginia and maintains membership in the Prince William Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect a regional practice and regular contact with local courts and public agencies. His background combines institutional clinic training and direct client advocacy. He has worked on asylum and refugee matters through his student clinic experience and on criminal record issues through the expungement clinic work.

He practices at The Manassas Law Group, P.C., where he represents individuals on matters that often involve immigration relief and post-conviction record issues. Colleagues describe him as methodical in intake and cautious in case assessment. He places priority on clear client communication and explaining procedural steps. His practice brings together elements of immigration assistance and relief from past convictions, and he guides clients through those processes day to day. He concentrates his practice on immigration and criminal record matters.
