About Ken
Ken Pugliese began his academic path at Barry University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. He stayed at Barry for law school and received his Juris Doctor from the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. His studies combined classroom work and practical legal training, and they set the stage for a career in courtroom and client-side work.
After law school Pugliese took a clerkship with the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society, Inc. The position placed him in a community-oriented legal setting early in his career. It offered exposure to day-to-day case handling and client contact in matters that affect individuals and families.
He is admitted to the Florida bar and is authorized to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Pugliese holds an active membership in The Florida Bar. Those credentials allow him to file cases and appear in both state and federal court across the region.
Pugliese is on the attorney roster at Freeman Injury Law. His experience there builds on the clerkship years and his academic foundation. At the firm he works on injury-related matters and engages with the procedural and evidentiary challenges those files present. He has handled pleadings, discovery, and motions practice, and he participates in case strategy and client meetings.
People who meet him find a lawyer who values clear explanation over legalese. He spends time outlining options and possible next steps so clients can make informed choices. In court filings and client conferences he favors precision and a practical frame of mind. He also works with experts and co-counsel as cases require.
Pugliese’s background in public administration informs how he approaches case organization and client communication. That training helps when sorting complex factual records and coordinating testimony or records gathering. It also shapes his view of access to representation, an outlook he first encountered during his legal aid clerkship.
Today Ken Pugliese practices at Freeman Injury Law, representing individuals in injury matters and handling litigation in both state and federal courts, including the Middle District of Florida.
