About Christopher

Christopher Lassen began his path toward law in Orlando, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida. He paired that degree with a minor in Business Administration, an early sign that he intended to combine legal reasoning with practical business sense. He later completed his Juris Doctor at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, preparing for practice in Florida courts.

After finishing law school, Lassen entered practice and by 2011 was working at Freeman Injury Law. He has remained affiliated with that firm since then. His work has centered on cases brought by individuals seeking recovery after accidents and other harms. Over the years he has handled negotiation, case preparation, and litigation tasks that arise in personal injury matters in Florida.

Lassen maintains membership in the Florida State Bar and is licensed to practice in the state. He appears regularly in state court and handles the procedural demands that come with personal injury files — from filing pleadings to managing discovery to preparing witnesses for depositions and trial. His background in legal studies and his business minor inform how he evaluates case value and communicates options to clients.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and direct in client conversations. He balances several roles at Freeman Injury Law, often moving between client meetings, drafting motions, and strategy sessions with co-counsel. He pays attention to timelines and evidence, and he works to keep clients informed about developments in their matters. He also participates in the firm’s efforts to track medical records, bills, and other documentation that can be important in proving damages.

Outside of his daily casework, Lassen has stayed engaged with the legal community in Florida through his bar membership. He follows developments in state law that can affect how injury cases proceed, particularly changes in procedural rules and statutory caps that impact damages. He applies those developments to the cases he handles so clients can understand how the law affects potential outcomes.

His practice remains centered at Freeman Injury Law, where he represents individuals in personal injury matters across Florida. He continues to work on behalf of injured clients, guiding them through the legal process from early intake to resolution.
