About Kelvin
Kelvin Roquemore is a seasoned business litigation attorney based in Dallas, Texas. He serves as the managing partner at Roquemore Skierski PLLC, a firm he co-founded to support owner-operated and owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs. With over 25 years of experience, Kelvin leads a team dedicated to resolving complex business disputes for small and mid-sized enterprises. Kelvin earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Tulane University School of Law in 1997. During his time at Tulane, he was the founding president of the Tulane Business Law Society and held leadership roles as treasurer of both the Student Bar Association and the Tulane Black Law Student Association. He also served as an editor for the Environmental Law Journal and completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy program.
Prior to law school, Kelvin obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Banking from the University of North Texas. Admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1997, Kelvin is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. His practice areas encompass business litigation, breach of contract, arbitration, business contracts and contract law, partnership disputes, general counsel services, and fraud litigation. Before founding Roquemore Skierski PLLC, Kelvin spent over seven years as senior counsel for a Fortune 500 company, where he guided their eDiscovery team. He has also worked at various litigation firms across Texas, developing deep experience handling business-critical disputes.
Additionally, Kelvin's background as a commercial lender provides him with practical insight into business operations, financial structuring, and risk mitigation. Beyond his legal practice, Kelvin is actively involved in his community. He serves on the board of the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the J.L. Turner Legal Association. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar College, and the Dallas Bar Association's Litigation and Business Sections. Kelvin is deeply committed to service beyond the courtroom, remaining actively involved in his church, mentoring youth, and participating in outreach programs that support underserved families in the Dallas area.
