About Kathryn

Kathryn Roegiers built her path to the law in Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2006 and earned her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. Those academic years set the foundation for a practice grounded in state-level work and community involvement.

After law school she returned to Florida to begin her legal career. She is licensed to practice in the state and has maintained memberships in local and statewide professional groups. Her engagement includes the Martin County and St. Lucie County Bar Associations and membership in the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is also active in civic circles through the Young Professionals of Martin County.

Her professional interests led her toward criminal defense. That direction is reflected by her participation in the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the types of matters she handles. She represents clients in state courts, counsel them through potential outcomes, and works on pretrial and trial-related issues. She approaches each matter on its own facts and the applicable law.

Her work blends courtroom presence and client advising. She spends time preparing for hearings, negotiating with prosecutors, and advising clients about business as well as personal consequences of criminal charges. Local bar involvement has kept her connected to colleagues across county lines. Those connections allow her to stay current on practice rules and local procedures.

Outside of legal practice she has sought out professional networks. Membership in the Young Professionals of Martin County reflects an interest in civic and business relationships within the community she serves. Staying active in both county bar associations also provides a forum for continuing legal education and collaboration on practice issues.

She practices from Roegiers Law, which serves clients in Martin County and neighboring jurisdictions. Casework at the firm includes criminal defense and related matters in Florida state courts. Her practice balances courtroom representation and client counseling, and she remains engaged in the local legal community.

She currently works at Roegiers Law, handling criminal defense and related matters in Florida state courts.
