About Justin P.
Justin P. Zuber began his academic path at Dickinson College, where he read English literature and earned a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to law school at Widener University Delaware School of Law, completing his Juris Doctor before entering practice. The combination of humanities and legal training shapes the way he approaches fact patterns and arguments.
Early in his career Zuber joined Miller & Zois, LLC as a lawyer. At the firm he has handled matters that take him into both state and federal court. He has built day-to-day experience litigating cases, preparing filings and taking part in hearings. Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and direct in court, preferring clear, practicable strategies over flourish.
Zuber is admitted to practice in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. He is also admitted to the United States District Court for Maryland. Those admissions allow him to represent clients in federal and state proceedings across the region. He appears regularly in Maryland courts and in forums that require federal practice credentials.
He maintains his bar membership through the District of Columbia Bar. That affiliation keeps him connected to procedural developments and continuing legal education offerings in the capital. He participates in bar activities and relies on that professional network when complex or multi-jurisdictional questions arise.
Within Miller & Zois, Zuber splits his time between courtroom work and case development. He prepares written advocacy, manages discovery, and coordinates with experts when cases require technical or medical input. He values thorough record review and prefers to prepare every hearing as if it were a trial.
Outside of the courthouse, Zuber’s background in literature informs how he frames legal narratives. He looks for the simplest way to tell a client’s story, and then crafts the legal argument around that narrative. His approach is practical: identify the key issue, assemble the facts, and present them clearly to judges and opposing counsel.
As of 2026 he continues to practice at Miller & Zois, LLC. He concentrates on litigation in Maryland and the District of Columbia, representing clients in both state and federal courts.
