About Juscha EM

Juscha EM Robinson trained at the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and German in 1998 and later returned for a Juris Doctor, awarded in 2003. Her academic years combined language study and public affairs, a background that surfaced again in her early public-interest work.

Robinson moved into professional practice shortly after law school. In 2003 she took a role as assistant program director at the Tenant Resource Center, Inc., working on tenant education and housing-related program delivery. That position put her on the front line of housing issues and community advocacy, giving her practical experience in client counseling and administrative work for nonprofit services.

By 2006 Robinson held two distinct positions that year. She served as a staff attorney for AIDS Network, Inc., where she handled legal matters for a public-health oriented nonprofit. In the same year she is recorded as taking on a partner role at Herrick & Kasdorf LLP. The combination of nonprofit legal work and private-firm experience broadened her perspective on the intersection between community-based practice and firm-side representation.

In 2017 Robinson joined Pines Bach, LLP as a partner. Her move to Pines Bach continued a trajectory from public-interest roles into sustained private practice. Colleagues describe a lawyer who moves deliberately between client-facing casework and the organizational demands of firm partnership. Her career shows an early emphasis on housing and nonprofit issues followed by longer spans in firm practice.

Robinson is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. Her work has included counseling individual clients and representing organizational clients, and she has carried responsibilities typical of partners: case strategy, client development and oversight of junior lawyers. She also brings experience in program administration from her time at tenant services, which informs how she manages docket and client intake processes in a firm setting.

Her experience in nonprofit environments and in private firms gives her a breadth of perspective. The through line is practical problem solving—helping clients understand options and the paths available to them. She currently practices at Pines Bach, LLP in Wisconsin, focusing her work on matters that arise at the intersection of client advocacy and firm-based representation.
