About Julie
Julie Ho earned a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine in 2005 and completed her J.D. at Southwestern University School of Law in 2008. Her academic path paired a global perspective with professional legal training. The combination shaped a practice that addresses legal issues rooted in California law.
After law school she entered private practice. She joined Core Law Group LLP and rose through the ranks, becoming a partner in 2011. In that role she has taken on case management, client counseling and firm responsibilities. She also supervises associate attorneys and oversees key matters handled by the firm.
Ho is licensed to practice in California and handles matters that arise under state law. Her work requires both courtroom preparation and detailed transactional work. She prepares filings, conducts legal research, negotiates on behalf of clients and presents arguments when necessary. Colleagues describe her as methodical in courtroom preparation and exacting in document review.
Across matters she emphasizes clear legal analysis and practical problem solving. She breaks complex issues into manageable parts and frames options for clients. Her courtroom presentations tend to be concise. Her written advocacy leans toward careful citation and thorough factual development.
Inside the firm she has taken on administrative and mentoring duties in addition to client work. As a partner she allocates work among team members, reviews strategy, and assists in setting priorities for cases. She has guided newer lawyers through trial preparation and client communications, shaping how the firm approaches litigation and transactional engagements.
Outside of direct case work, Ho keeps current with developments in California law. She follows changes in statutes and case law that affect the types of matters the firm handles. That attention to detail helps when the firm must adapt to shifting legal standards or tactical developments in ongoing matters.
Her career path has been steady: undergraduate study in international affairs, law school, then private practice leading to partnership. The trajectory gives her a perspective that blends academic training and hands-on legal work. She remains a partner at Core Law Group LLP and currently focuses her practice on legal matters arising under California law.
