About Julie
Julie Gaudreau earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 2013 after completing a B.A. at Curry College in 2009. Those years in Boston shaped her early legal thinking. She arrived in the bar world with classroom training in evidence and criminal procedure behind her and a readiness to work in Massachusetts courts.
She began her professional practice in 2014 when she joined the office of Michael DelSignore as a lawyer. That early stint placed her in a small-firm setting where she handled client intake, case preparation and courtroom appearances. Colleagues from that office describe a lawyer who learned day-to-day practice by doing the work — drafting motions, attending hearings and managing the practical details that keep cases moving.
Membership in professional associations has been a steady part of her development. She is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and of the Massachusetts State Bar. Those affiliations connect her to peers who focus on impaired-driving defense and to statewide bar activities. Practicing in Massachusetts, she relies on those networks for updates on statutory changes, jury issues and procedural developments that affect defendants in criminal and motor-vehicle matters.
Her background suggests particular familiarity with cases that arise from traffic stops and impaired-driving investigations. The National College of DUI Defense centers on the technical and scientific aspects of such cases, which often involve breath and blood testing, field sobriety testing and evidentiary hearings. Gaudreau’s experience in a Massachusetts practice gives her day-to-day exposure to how local prosecutors approach these matters and to the courtroom strategies judges expect.
Outside court, her work has involved client counseling on immediate post-arrest steps, administrative hearings and plea negotiations. She has moved between bench hearings and contested matters, managing both procedural deadlines and case strategy. That practical experience informs how she prepares clients for hearings and how she frames legal arguments on their behalf.
Today she continues to practice law in Massachusetts at the office associated with Michael DelSignore. Her current work includes defense of clients in impaired-driving and related criminal matters, alongside general criminal defense in state courts.
