About Joshua H.

Joshua H. Meyeroff built his legal foundation at Widener University Delaware School of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 2007. He moved from the classroom to the courtroom and has maintained a steady presence in regional trial circles since. His legal education provided the groundwork for a practice rooted in litigation practice and courtroom work.

He is admitted to practice in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware. That multi-jurisdictional eligibility allows him to appear in state and federal matters across the Mid-Atlantic. Over the years he has combined courtroom work with professional association activity, a pattern common among trial lawyers who seek both peer engagement and ongoing skills development.

Meyeroff holds several memberships in trial and bar organizations. He is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and serves as Secretary of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Delaware Chapter. He is active in the Richard S. Rodney Inn of Court and belongs to the Delaware Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect a practice centered on litigation and trial advocacy rather than transactional work.

At Morris James LLP he is part of a team that handles courtroom matters and litigation strategy. His role there involves preparation for trial, discovery work and courtroom advocacy. Colleagues note that his calendar often includes pretrial hearings, depositions and trial dockets across the firm’s regional footprint.

Meyeroff’s professional involvement extends beyond case work. Serving as an officer in ABOTA’s Delaware chapter places him in a role that combines administrative duties with educational events for trial lawyers. Participation in the Inn of Court likewise connects him to mentorship traditions that pair established practitioners with newer members of the bar.

Clients and peers can expect a lawyer who spends the bulk of his professional time on contested matters. He works on litigation matters that require courtroom readiness, from early case development through trial. He practices in multiple Mid-Atlantic jurisdictions and appears in both state and federal courts across those states.

He maintains his practice at Morris James LLP and continues to handle trial and litigation matters across Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.
