About Joshua Frank

Joshua Frank Andor earned his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, completing his J.D. in 2009. His legal education included early courtroom exposure and practical internships that preceded his admission to practice. While in law school he took opportunities to work in appellate and governmental settings.

After law school he moved into a mix of public and private roles. In 2007 he served as a clerk for the Fifth District Court of Appeals in Dallas. The following year he worked as an intern in the Office of the Lawyer General. By 2009 he had established the Law Office of Joshua Andor, P.C., where he acted as owner and managing lawyer. He later helped found the Collin County Law Group in 2020 and became its managing partner in 2023.

Andor’s practice has long combined family and criminal law. He holds board certifications from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in three areas: family law, criminal law and child welfare law. Those credentials mark a formal recognition of experience and testing in each subject area. He has handled both contested divorces and criminal defense matters, and he appears regularly in county courts on issues involving child welfare and parental rights.

Professional involvement has been steady. He has been a member of the State Bar of Texas family and criminal law sections since 2009. He joined the American Inns of Court as a barrister in 2013. Since 2016 he has held memberships in the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. At the local level he has been active in the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association since 2012, serving as vice president in 2015–2016, president in 2016–2017 and immediate past president in 2017–2018. He also has served as a director of that association.

Colleagues and court observers note that his career mixes courtroom practice with organizational leadership. He has practiced under his own firm name and within larger local partnerships, including an association with Andor, Goheen, O’Toole, Wadas & Gonzalez, P.L.L.C. Over time his caseload has reflected the three fields in which he holds board certification.

He currently practices family law, criminal defense and child welfare matters in Collin County.
